i agree with everyone so far. though the 3sgte is a good idea, and is done on most mk3s that professionally race, its not budget worthy or ideal. for a good setup i would consider one of three options depending on the amount of money you are willing to spend and how much time you want to put into it:
1) turbo that 1zz
2) install a 2zz from a celica gts or matrix xrs
3) pray you can find a "3zz" from a destroyed lotus. the new lotus is (from what i have heard) built off of the mk3 platform and tuned to perfection. though it is a lotus motor (as far as the badges on the motor go) it is still an upgraded 2zz.
i would look into the lotus thing if you have the money and the time, but if not, #1 and #2 are your best options.....
