That flange will bolt directly to the stock catalytic converter, but it can be a struggle if you're laying on your back in the driveway, doing everything by yourself. The weight of the muffler and cat can make it difficult to get things lined up. You may have to support the cat/muffler with a jack, or get someone to hold it up for you while you get the bolts started. Try putting just the top bolt in loosely, then jacking the downpipe up near the flange, a little at a time, until the other bolt will go in.

Also, I do want to make sure you're using the 10mm bolts I supplied. Anything bigger will probably not fit due to the offset of the bolt holes.
