An SC in stock form, will beat the 20v's in stock form. Between HP and Torque, the later is the more significant number.
The 20v internals are too light and the compression ratio is too high for boosting. However you could put a 20v head on a block with SC internals. You could fab up, or customize the intake manifold to make it work. Properly done, well over 200 HP wouldn't surprise me.
When you do Basic Performance Mods, and plus some additional mods on an SC, you can get to 200 HP going the SC route alone.
