Used s54's are usually around for $200 in decent condition. There was one for sale on Craigslist up here in Atlanta. You can also convert Celica s53's and Camry s59's, though the gearing is different.
If you're planning a swap of some kind, now is probably the time to do it rather than spending money on another transmission, especially if you're going to do a 3sgte which uses an e153.
