The 20v has slightly more torque than the ordinary 4age, and makes it at a much higher RPM. It's pretty weak down low. The 20v doesn't really handle boost very well, and it's already tuned close to it's max, so you aren't going to get much more out of it reliably.
If you like winding the engine out to 8k+ rpm, the 20v is great, but it sounds like you would enjoy the 4agze better.

Well i realize that the 20v doesnt handle boost well, but im not one of those people who plans on putting a turbo on a engine with stock internals. What i would like to do is build the engine up, get some good internals that can handle the boost. And then once ive done that, maybe supercharge or turbo, id like to supercharge since thatl give me some better lowend.
