toggle switch for dummies (like me)
pull off pigtail by SC, find dead/negative wire of the two (odly, mine was the red not the black) you don't want to run power all the time to the switch.
splice negative, attach double wire, and run double wire toward the cockpit via big hole beneath wall carpet behind driver seat again via floor board/door sill and U R right at baby quarter panel that conceal fuse box, pull apart baby panel (ease one nut) and is plenty of room there to install switch (very soft plastic ease to make hole even w/o drill)
I DID WASTE TIME WITH DASHBOARD. I Spend an hour putting brittle things back. No room /not worth it
Do not buy Walmart type PLASTIC THREE WAY TOGGLE, (I did) will fail at thread/nut on installation,,delaaay.. and if you guess is not right you have to pull panel apart again..more delaaay buy METAL TWO WAY toggle
If U already have some double wire and some ol shiet around the house this mod goes from zero to 10 bucks
IF is not clear: SC has TWO wires, you run ONE of them to switch.
