they dont add power, the length of the stack moves the power band up and down the rpm range (from what ive read, im no engineer) the pass stacks are either too short or long, cant remember which way it goes, thus bringing the power band up really high, effectively killing driving at low rpms
do some research and get the right length for the style of driving you enjoy
