BT has a superior head design, more aggressive cam among other things. Ive seen quite a few 20v ST making 120whp, but never seen one higher than 135whp where I have seen quite a few BT dynos making 144-155whp.
Rod size wont matter for boost as long as you control detonation and arent trying to make 300whp+
