Well, I'm pulled my motor just to do everything right. I'm doing timing because it appeared to be 5 degrees off. I'm super confused. Here's some pics.

This is when the HB notch is pointed at 0 Degrees ( and the cover is on as firm as possible)
Now, when I look under the valve cover, it's really close, but they're not dead smack in the center; Here is the exhaust cam

( This one may look centered, but the notch is a little to the left)
And here is the intake cam

( There you can tell it's not dead center)
Now: Here are the markings when the HB is at 5 Degrees
The Exhaust cam
The Intake cam
So: I've read that if it's off by a tooth, I'll be ok ( which is what it appears to be )
But, I would rather have it dead smack. So would this work:?
Keep the cam gears in the same position, slide off the belt, move the crank pulley to the 0 mark, and put on the belt again?
