Haha Im well aware of how much of a pain it is to pull the rack, I had mine out in a parking lot one night when a tie rod gave and sent me into a curb...got me a broken control arm as a good luck charm now lol.

Before you wrapped it in tape, when you would drive if you hit a bump would your steering wheel shake?
