IIRC the short axle can be used from a turbo mk2 because the longer axle uses an intermediate shaft, which the e51 doesn't utilize.....
you might also be able to use one from a supercharged corolla... as long as you make sure it's for an e51 box (and if yours has lsd you will need an axle with lsd.... if not, again, not)

well its good cause i only need the short one i will try and find a turbo mr2 i guess i broke my original when replacing the clutch i took the six 8mm nuts and when i put it back the six bearings came out of the opposite side. and now the axle wont go back on.
Is the side of the axle that connects to the transmission suppose to be flexible? honestly when it goes on it hits the strut and wont bend down any.
