the swap really isn't that bad, The only thing that had me cursing was cutting out the old 4a mounts, what a pain. For the 3s mounts you can build your own or order a set from speedsource, if you live in the states and you order the brackets you can even put a deposit on a jig that bolts to the strut towers and tells you exactly where to weld the mounts, if you go that route save yourself the time and pain and get the poly motor mount front and rear set or even the front and rear motor mount setup for the mk1.5 and also get the stainless clutch line for the mk1.5, not only does it stiffen the feel of the clutch but also bolts to the body and transmission with no problems. The axles are a little more of a pain but I found if you take the turbo charged axles and knock the outer CV joints off and put outers off an 80's style V6 camry 5 speed they work great(the camry uses the same transmission but the axles are too long) also while doing that be extremely careful with the inboard plunge joints because they fall apart and are tricky little buggers to put back together. I just used my 86 shifter cables and tweaked one of the brackets and my car shifts great and for the cooling system all I did was remove the factory 86 oil cooler and actually reused the gen 1 hoses and built a pipe that runs across the firewall insulated where it runs behind the turbo, and for the coolant tank I used a plastic tank out of a VR6 after carefully sanding the volkswagon symbol off and painting a toyota symbol on. As for the intercooler you can do whatever you want, adapt one to the passenger side vent, trunk mounted or custom build a water to air setup. The only part thats hard isn't really all to hard with some knowledge and patience and that being the wiring, just sit down with wiring diagrams of both cars and map out which wire is which and get to wiring, also use a multimeter and a remote 12volt source just to be sure everythings right, you don't wanna fry your ecm. Thats pretty much it I actually built mine in three weeks but take your time and do it right especially if its your first time doing it
