Keep in mind that in California, a jdm engine at best is going to require egr and a 4wire o2 to be added. They will probably also require the usdm ecu. Many JDM motors simply fail on site.
If the ref is not a concern, then yes, a jdm mr2 4agze is bolt-in. A corolla distibutor type 4agze will be more trouble. Here it's best to simply get a usdm 4agze wiring harness, ecu, etc.....
If this is a distributorless motor, then you might want me to make you a harness.
