Shifty, since you're planning on tracking your 1MZ swap, you should know mine spun a bearing just 4 laps into its first track day. Probably from oil pickup problem, though I can't be 100% certain. Look for my upcoming thread on an oil pan baffle setup in the v6 section on the other board. You might want to consider something similar, or at least put in an oil pressure gauge and keep a close eye on it.
any update on the bearings/baffle/oiling issues, Jim?

I just finished replacing the d16y8 SOHC VTEC lump in my civic thanks to an oil starvation issue that wrecked my bearings and crank..i definitely don't want to go through that with the 1mz!

any updates on your sorting, Streetrack? cheers
