if emisions is something you worry about, call your local inspection agency and ask what they look for, because beams are not OBD2, and if they scan the engines you may not pass, however some rav4 are obd1 and you may be in this category.
theoretically the swap should be bolt on however give more details.

your new engine (auto, manual, 4x4)
the sensor, very difficult to get, call your importer and tell them that you cannot install the engine and you cannot verify the 30 day start up warranty if any, and if they can locate a sensor for you. im in your shoes and supposedly they have located one and its on it way (crossing fingers) push them hard. otherwise sit and wait cuz from australia it will take five weeks. |
My Motor is a FWD Manual transmission
And the motor I am planning on swapping in is the same FWD Manual
This sensor has me ticked off, already I have to fashion a Y pipe and now I may have to source this sensor.
Seems the guy I bought mine from may have sold this to someone else and had it returned.
I got fuse boxes with my swap but they are damaged as well are these parts that I need?
