Again with the theme OEM i looked at the coolant reservoir for the A/W water set up that i made. Well your going to think im nuts but i wanted a plastic bottle as its not under pressure at all.
I spent a whole day at the wreckers to see all the radiator water bottles of every dam type of car. I needed on that would fit and have the shape that i needed so as to add nipples , clear the brake booster pipe and follow the contours of the MR2.
GEE I MUST OF LOOKED AT AROUND 200 OF THEM !
None were going to be of any use. Well my crappy 25 year old corolla was running hot so i had to add some coolant, and blow me down with a feather ! There was the bootle that would fit. Well this was a Aussie made car so when i rang Toyota it was a NO GO . Car too old. Then after searching my EPC i noticed that the Sprinter was the same shape. So i ordered it . Man this is a 25 tear old item and Toyota still had it

Well it came and i must tell you it is of a far greater quality than the Aussie one. Its much thicker approx 4 mm thick and has no internal webbing around the inside coners.
Well i made 2 nipples and a third for the Temp sender.
Now Plastics 101 PE cannot be glued so i had to make the nipples to go from the back with an o-ring.
I have to make a bracket to hold the bottle now incorparating a flange to hold the nipples also for added strenght so as not to twist the plastic. Beleive me with the bottle being 4 mm thick there isnt any movement , but good to have added security.
Oh well will post the pictures
Also the pic of the Air supply to the BOV tap in from the brake booster line.
Ill clamp them then add the protective rubber hose slipper.
