The MR2 was my first car, I don't drive anyone round really ( Most of my mates live in the same flat and all have 4 door 5 seater cars for some reason) So ive never found the 2 seats being an issue even with it as my one and only car, however I borrow mums Civic every now and then to pick up stuff for the MR2.

They are no more reliable or un reliable than any 20+ Year old turbo car, there are a couple of "problem areas" but there are easy remedies avaliable.

In regards to the "ricers", its not the car, its how you drive it and present it.
Personally I plan on getting a civic or something similar for the simple reason that they are dirt cheap, the Vtec engines are dirt cheap and they can be some FWD Fun.
