here's the cheapest solution i've found:

TOYOTA MR2 2.0 16V FRONT EXHAUST PIPE 01/94-06/96 *NEW* on eBay (end time 06-Nov-09 21:36:24 GMT)

I grabbed one of these for my beams mk1 project. Havent' fit it up yet, but it looks compatible.

So, it's a $130-$150 solution.
