Stock is very reliable but definitely not for racing so which way do you really want to go. Also, proper break in period (about 500+ miles) is a must otherwise you'll burn the clutch and will need a new replacement again sooner than you think.

I suppose if the car is more of a daily then you can go with a stage one kit (clutch, bearing, flywheel, pressure plate) by Exedy or another reputable brand.
