not sure what you mean my gasket is blown from my header? but it makes the typical silvertop dieselish clattery noise from the valvetrain, I'm going to go with thicker oil when i get it running to quiet that.

okay so I had some new developments. Since I thought it'd be a quick finish and start of dirivng I put that 104 octane boost jet fuel crap in there to clear a slight ping, and i dont really remember if it was smoking before I put that in or not, but i know it wasnt smoking when I took it on its test drive i dont rmeember smoke, but it started a bit after.

so anyways I had some rank ass smell and some black smoke. I pumped out the last half a tank down to maybe 1 gallon left, and put in 5 new gallons of 92 octane. Black smoke for a few seconds, and then it went away. back to grey smoke, and it didnt smell the same foul stank of the crappy old gas+"jet fuel" but it was kinda similar.

it is bitter, thats what gets me. It isnt a sweet smell like burning coolant. Its kind of sour and bitter and you choke on it a bit. I have smelled coolant on the manifold and it is way different. I have been introducing slight amounts of seafoam into the idle tract, and it seems like its been making the smoke lessen, and smell not as bad, but i'm not sure. It reminds me of carbon smoke, could there really be this much carbon in the car?!??!

If theres any other possiblitys i'd like to explore them until i even have money to rip the head off and get a headgasket and possibly head studs
