hmmm... vacuum leak, I'll have to look into that haven't thought of that before. some people are saying it sounds like a blown head gasket, which makes sense w/ the overheating...but oil isn't muddy and doesn't have coolant in it.
as for the ECU, i have another mr2 friend nearby but I doubt he's willing to let me rip out his ECU
plus i'd definitely want to rule out some more stuff before I go for the ECU
and the fuses, I just realized something I said I blew fuses, but I checked every single one in my car with an ohmmeter and they're all fine. (except for the starter relay, btw WHERE IS IT ??
what else could shut down my gauges like that?
if my car didn't have a salvage title I'd just start replacing everything, including the motor but I don't want to put too much $$ into a salvage...
I think it might be time for a trade
