Agreed, this is why I was asking if anyone had run them, knew the difference b/w the Star Specs or, could make a different recommendation for me. We know 16's have more limited choice and there are only a few in the 215 width that I want. They make the Star Specs for my rear size and they are a good bit more than the DZ101's in that size, so I'm assuming they are charging for something different, perceived to be better.

I'm really leaning toward the 615's for the front since they are so sticky and I have 30mm worth of extra meat on each the back tire. I don't want it to push too easily. But we get a good bit of rain and puddling around here and while I slow down when I know conditions are bad, I do have a concern about wet traction and water channeling for the fronts. I hear the 615's are decent in the wet as long as you have about half tread left, but I didn't think it was a great wet tire. My logic is that since I got through the front tires so much slower than the rears, this could work for me.
