Toyota MR2 Message Board - View Single Post - not the heater core please not the heater core!

hey two questions
1)i fear my heater core might be leaking...is there anyway to find out other then ripping my whole god damn car apart, will it still leak if i keep the heat off?
2) is there any writeup on replacing it ...and nobody makes a new one??? can i still get one from toyota?(hate to do it twice) doesnt look hard just looks like a pita
any help is greatly apreciated
