anyhoo, im saying thats the most common problem. as you take it apart and redo all the internals (might as well if youre this far into it) you always replace both bearings just for the hell of it and even get a clutch, unless you like taking all this apart over and over...
i suspect mine is the detents because its starting to do a little movement in 5th gear when i release/apply the accelerator.
