I've checked the tires and they are pretty close to the fender. Having the tire fall inside the wheel well gives it the clearance to avoid any rubbing when I hit rough spots on the road.

If I put spacers on the wheels and flush them with the fenders they would look good but I run the risk of the tires rubbing against the fenders each time I hit the rough spots on the road. As I had initially stated on my original posting, this car is a daily driver and commutes an average of 75 miles a day from home to work on various road surfaces. It would not be practical for me to flush the wheels to the fender.
