Ok, I've read the other swap info and searched with no results for such a thing, so now I'm asking: Has anybody done any kind of 4-cylinder Subaru swap on a MKI?
I don't know exactly how dimensions would work out on it, but a WRX or STi motor coupled to a FWD Impreza tranny seems to me like a viable fit. Unfortunately I have neither a MKI nor the drivetrain to measure for this concept.
Why do a boxer motor? Well, why not?!? I suppose that I just don't like the other options I've seen done.
