Yep a gen 2 motor is great bang for buck, and as you say, they're a lot more common.

Someone here was making 110kw ATW with just intake+exhaust.

Also someone here, SW20 with intake/exhaust ran a 14.7 with a gen 2 motor, they aint bad.
