Sounds like it might have been running through the community... I dropped a knuckle assembly off at a local shop to get the barring pressed out and have the new one pressed in w/ the turbo hub well I picked it up and off the bat noticed the dust shield was missing (axle side) no prob. I had a spare later when I got to go play I noticed that the barring was very greezy and looked suspicious... THEN noticed that the retaining ring had one end broken off of it and was beat to hell and also say a nice dent in the "new" barring.
Not feeling too confident I ran a lil test and shook the hub to see if it was loose, it didn’t seem to be so I put it on the car and after tightening on the wheel found sure enough it was loose. a long stream of profound language came out of my mouth as I proceeded to call my dad to vent and let him know I will never outsource any other work for any of my cars unless im standing there watching!!! Arrrrrrrr so I have stopped by Toyota and got a print out showing them that the bearings and knuckles from the turbo and non turbo are the same part... there was a bit of concern about that when I was explaining what I wanted to do
