E-manage Ultimate can pulls timing information from either your cam or crank angle sensor and send out an alternate signal directly to your coil (s). On my Eclipse I only have one distributor coil so I'm only altering one coil signal, on the 4 cyl eclipse they have 2 coil packs and you would send the signal out to 2 coil packs. I have not really been hunting around too deep in the engine bay of the MR2 yet but I think the 3SGTE is run on a distributor meaning which it should have only one coil no?
