Oh wow I'm seeing some action in here.. Haven't been to the boards in awhile. If anyone's interested, I was working on it quite a bit till it died on me (major electrical problems) and it's been sitting around for a bit UNTIL I found another MR2 locally that had front end/frame damage. I'm currently in the process of swapping just about everything from that car into mine, but keeping the front end. So 3sgte, interior, entire drivetrain, ect. Then I'm thinking I'll have it painted if everything turns out alright, meaning I'm losing the scoop, mirrors and fixing up the body a bit. We'll see how it turns out. I'll post pics of the process and current condition if anyone's interested.

i think it doesnt look that bad. it would have looked better with 94+ tail lights. i wouldnt put them on my MR2 because it takes away the look of the MR2

Someone else did the conversion. This guy only just got it and is fixing it. The tail lights aren't his fault. And the newest mr2only features an MR2 with close to 1000bhp.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, sorry I have been busy but I will post up pictures soon! Swap is ALMOST done already!
Engine bay has been completely swapped now, we're just finishing up the wiring, entire interior and some of the things under the hood (radiator, ac). I am pretty confident I will have it running by wednesday after next. Soon as it's mechanically sound, I'm pretty sure I will rework some of the body and have it repainted. I plan to lose the scoop and side mirrors, and to make sure the front end is done well as it's currently barely held together. But for now, one step at a time! |
