The original Greddy fits perfect into the OEM bumper. It's made of polyrurethane and very flexible. I love the look, but be ready to scoop the road. I never seen a Greddy replica, but whatever replica you buy, just make sure its flexible or you will end up regreating your purchase.
The pic was taken by 06spdracer on our MR2 last week Socal meet. Last edited by jigtrix; 01-21-2009 at 10:13 PM. |

If you like the style, there's no point in buying a fiberglass knock-off. You will break it. My car's on TRD springs and is almost impossible not to scrape even when approaching dips at extreme angles. The only reason the lip is still intact is because of its polyurethane construction.
And I can't wait to get rid of it now. Back to stock '93 here I come! |

I'm not sure how much the replica is that you're looking at, but the Greddy front lip is so inexpensive that it's not even worth it to purchase a knockoff. I see them consistently priced between 150 and 180... I can't imagine the knockoff being much less than that.
Being polyurethane is a big help as well... I would've destroyed mine a half dozen times without that much needed flexibility. |

what? I had 2 real Greddy lips and they are not ploy. They are made of ABS. If theres a poly version someone let me know cause I'll buy it. I shattered both of my real Greddy lips already cause its soo low (especially with coilovers at lowest setting).
