don't know what that is, but i really don't like the car, especially how the little triangle window is gone, it helps when you change lanes, when you can look into your blind spot...

Imo, that looks a little bit different than the bomex wing. The bomex one is a little bit tighter around the rear, and doesn't have any gaps. This is a Bomex wing.

whats with the vent in the upper qp, the foil under the engine lid, and the bracket/brace/whatever it is in the rear passenger window?

This was at the 2009 Spring Fling. It won best in show. The vent brings air to the engine bay/fuel cell he has. The trunk and engine bay were combined into one.

I know that the maclaren f1 has some sort of gold foil to reflect the heat of the engine, for whatever reason, maybe it's so it doesn't roast the paint on the body panels.

I like that header.
