I'm not with ATS, but I got the upgraded CT26 from them. You can ship it to them first or you can pay the core charge and then ship it and they will refund you the core charge once they receive it.

Just a rebuild with no upgrade?

You can order now, and ship your turbo after, or you can send us the core with your contact info, and order once we receive it. It's your option.

Best regards,

Ken

Upgraded to a CT27, or with just a compressor upgrade?

Sure. Here's my car at ~17PSI with stock motor, and standard bolt-ons (IC, DP, Exhaust, Intake, G-Force ROM tune, EBC)

$850 plus shipping and core charges. (Unless you send your core in advance)

We used to offer a choice of the TO4E-46 or the TO4E-50 compressor wheel, but the limitation on the turbo is still the turbine side, even with the increased flow from the porting that we perform. As a result of testing, we dropped the 50 trim from the line-up.

What differences would one expect between the two trims? If someone purchased a used CT27, would there be a way to verify which trim it is?

We've only offered the 46 trim, for at least two years now. You'd be hard pressed to find a 50 trim, there weren't all that many of them sold. The 50 trim was somewhat more laggy than the 46 trim, while offering no peak horsepower or torque gain, which is why we discontinued it.
