Motor Swap

I was wondering how much you would charge to do a 3rd Gen JDM 3SGTE complete swap. I have a 92 MR2 non-turbo. The engine is already out. I have a turbo engine that a local shop bought for me but im not sure which motor it is. They claimed for it to be a 2nd gen but i dont know how to check it to be sure. They screwed me over they told me they could do the swap that i wanted a but they ended giving me my car back in pieces. I live in San Antonio and i wanna take the car up there if yall can do it.

The best thing to do is to email Aaron with full details of what you have, and what you need. We always recommend getting a full clip when swapping NA-Turbo, because there are a whole bunch of sensors, along with the harnesses, that may or may not be included with a loose long block. If you end up having to buy some of those parts, you can get nickel and dimed to death. His email address is atsaaron@atsracing.net

If the engine came out of an MR2 that was built prior to 93.11, it will be a Gen 2. Is there a plate on top of the intake manifold? If so, it should say "Ceramics Power" if it's a JDM Gen 2 engine.
Best regards,

Ken
