Some sort of boost controller (manual or electronic) is necessary to see maximum gains with the combo kit. The tuned rom does not increase boost. Details on what it does:
Tuned ROM features: Remove factory fuel cut (for the conservative types out there, we can raise it to approximately 14.5 psi) Raise factory rev limiter to customer specified amount (from 7200 rpm to approx. 9000 rpm, Our most popular option with stock valve train is 7600 rpm) Lock out cold weather fuel timing maps - retains factory fail safe maps to protect your engine Dyno tuned timing maps Dyno tuned fuel mapping Thanks, Aaron |

I noticed u mentioned rasing the rev limit to 7600 rpm from 7200, is it hard to make it make power until 7600, like just a good upgrade turbo?

You mentioned raising the fuel cut to 14.5. The 93+ has the fuel cut at 16-16.5 already. Can you change the fuel cut to any level via the ROM tune ? I would like to get a CT-27 and raise the boost to the recommended 17, and still have a fuel cut at about 17.5 in case something goes wrong.

The 93 ECU fuel cut is not always consistent at 16. I think it's a variance in the boost sensor itself. I don't like to promise what I can't consistently deliver.
The value for fuel cut in the 93 ECU is a 238. The maximum value is 256 and completely removes fuel cut. I could set your fuel cut to 255, but because of the resolution of the stock map sensor I can't guarantee that will be 17.5 psi. Aaron |

Interesting. Any idea what the typical range of the 93 fuel cut is ? If I install a FCD, would it be more consistent, or would it suffer from the same variances ? What do people typically do on a 93+ with a CT-27 that they want to run above the factory fuel cut ?
