WANT TO ADD SMALLER SUPERCHARGER PULLEY
have an '88 supercharged mr2. the only mod i have done is had a rare TRD header with a thrush mini turbo muffler installed. i want more zip and i am told by my toyota mechanic that as far as pulleys go, the supercharger pulley would be the one to change. all i know is by installing a smaller pulley will make the supercharger spin faster thus increasing the performance. the things i don't know...where to find one, what size to get and if i can get by without doing any other mods after changing this pulley. i had one mr2 inthusiast tell me i would not have to do any mods but i needed to keep the boost below 8 or 9 pounds. i am told that a TRD supercharger pulley is the way to go but they are now extinct. can anyone HELP me???

The only other mod I did was a boost gauge and an intake, basically mounted a pipe and filter in the trunk.
The NEVO is a 12-13 psi pulley. I didn't have a dyno back then, but I would have guessed a 25 hp gain. Aaron |
