Little bit of play time at ATS

It's not all work ALL the time....

Hoang's family bought a Toyota boat (Toy-boat-a?) like mine:

I got some new graphics for my ski:

We've been watching some jet ski videos and found out about something called the V wake, or double boat wake. Wakeboarders call it "The Spine." Basically the two boats match speed (about 11 mph) and drive side by side about 30 feet apart. The two boat's wakes combine to make a HUGE wake in the middle.

So you drive your jet ski right up the middle.....and ram into this VIOLENT upwards wake. You absolutely can't to it without some free style mods to your ski, namely footholds. I tried it on a stock ski and nearly broke my ankle. The wake shoots you VERTICAL:

scroll for it....

BAM!

Sipo got some rotation off this one:

See ya,

Aaron

Awesome! Epic boats are a real rarity around here, surprised that you actually have 2 in your friend group.

What can someone pick a nice one up for in Texas? Have you had any problems with the Perfect Pass system? It's the only gripe I've seen people have had with the boats.

I just found out about Epics this spring...bought one a week later, haha. I got lucky and found a local one. My Epic is an original Texas boat. The original owner lives 1/4 mile from me. Hoang's Epic is from Georgia. Mine was about $17k and Hoang's was about $19k, but his is newer, less hours, and a V drive (more interior room) but has less options (mine has ballast system, stereo with sub, and Perfect Pass).

Since I don't wakeboard I almost never use the Perfect Pass, the boat's previous owner swears by it though.

I thought Perfect Pass worked pretty good, but Accuski is the one with issues?

Maybe, I'm not all that into Wakeboarding Boats, it's actually not the type of boat I'd buy, but since it's a Toyota, I'm so tempted to anyway As long as it works for you, that's awesome. I love those boats- I'm jealous

Who is upside down in the last pic to the left? Looks like somebody didn't make it. Pretty sweet

I see them at them at the dealership (same dealer my Toyota Epic came from) but rarely on the lake.

I am pretty sure that is Hoang. The wake shoots you so vertical that it is VERY difficult to ride out the landing. Usually we just crash and burn...fortunately it's on water ;-)

We did some buoy racing a couple weeks ago (on my birthday). We set up a simple 7 buoy course and just had some fun. Here's a few pics:

Me on a borrowed Superjet (Scott's wife's ski)

Me catching Hoang:

Two of me and ATS_Matt racing. I'm on the light blue ski this time and he is on the yellow one:
