My mod list

I plan on around 450 whp with this build, let me know if i'm missing anything that should be put on.

2.0 or 2.2 stroker
ACL race bearings
ATS cam gears
HKS 264 cams
ATS valve springs
Ferrera over sized valves
Racing head studs
HKS timing belt
ATS CV joints
stage 4 clutch
Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel
TRD or E185 LSD
800cc injectors
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
warlbro fuel pump
Fuel Rail (not sure what kind to support 450 hp)
ATS intake manifold
street brawler t3/t4 50 trim
Berk 3" exhaust
spearco side mound intercooler
ATS throttle body

Thats what I'm planning on doing, if I'm missing something that my engine would need to support this go ahead and add it. Otherwise how does it look?

Our fuel rail will work fine at that power level.

The Street Brawler will be maxed out at 450 and maybe even before then. Look towards a GT3082 for that power level.

Skip the oversized valves. Stock valves with one of our valve jobs will support over 600whp.

What ECU are you planning on using?

If you are planning on tuning it yourself the support is good, however it is next to impossible to find a reliable professional tuner (other than RickyB) who will touch one. Where are you located? Do you know of any tuners in your area? The easiest thing to do is to find out what they like and buy that. It may cost you more up front, but will usually save you later in tuning costs.

I'm located in Detroit, MI. I don't know of any professional tuners in my area, this pretty much a to do list for my 91t sometime within the next year. Would it be cheaper to buy the parts myself and ship the car/parts to you guys and have you assemble/tune or for ATS to buy the parts and do everything there?

Well, anything you do yourself (assuming you do it right) will save you money over paying me (or anyone). I have no problems with do it yourselfers. You could assemble and install the engine/turbo/fuel/etc and break it in at low boost on 440's and the stock ECU and then ship the car to us for EMS installation and tuning. Or you could send us the whole car and have us do the whole thing for you. Some people like to be hands on, some people like "turn-key" performance

I will caution you that we (or any shop) don't like half completed stuff with missing fasteners and parts. For example we do not offer any discounts to an owner who "pulls the old motor out for us." We have specific way we do things and the time he thinks he saved in pulling the motor will probably cost him later in missing parts or fasteners.

Oh, one other question. With 450+ whp will the side mount spearco intercooler be sufficient or would it be a good call to get the water-aired trunk mount?

If it's 450whp on race gas then the Spearco will be fine.
