CT27 Stage 1 vs Stage 2
I'm a little confused about what the difference in power is between the stage 1 and stage 2 CT27 builds. I realize the difference in price and parts, but Stage 1 seems the claim the same power at lower boost without the extra parts or price. Just wondering if that a misprint or if theyre more assurance from damage. Idk just thought I'd ask... Thanks guys!

Well I plan on running race gas...or E85 if I can, but I'm a little unsure of the fuel upgrades to run and get E85 tuned properly. Yea I just noticed the Stage 1 had a 350 fwhp at 19psi and stage 2 at 350 fwhp at 20psi so I had just wondered why the upgrade. I got it now.
Have you guys ran an E85 upgrade yet? As the only place race gas is available here in MN is at the track. I would like to run E85 when I do run it on the street...which probably wont be very frequent. I already have the CT27 and just had it rebuilt. Can I purchase the rest of the kit pieces individually or is there still a big price break without the turbo on the package. |

E85 requires 20-30% more fuel than 93 pump gas, so you would need to upgrade to 550cc injectors to run E85 and 20 psi. I've never done an E85 rom tune before. It would need to be set up for 550's and for dual maps (one for E85 and one for 93 octane). I could take a try at it if you are interested. The rom tune would be $850.
