Powerful Options

hey guys,

I'm looking to his the 300hp range, using a JDM GEN 2 3GSTE, but i can't decide on which turbo i want to use, because i plan to go for 400 or more in the not to distant future( Year and a half basically)

So far i have decided to go with a standalone (Power FC) using the kit you guys offer, ATS Advanced Power FC kit for 1991 to 1992 US/JDM cars. Includes Power FC with Commander, adapter harness, base maps, GM 3 bar map sensor with connector, GM intake air temp sensor with connector, and ATS support.
,but

i cant decide on which turbocharger to use.

I figured a CT27 would be a good idea, but it maxes at 350, below my power expectations. I do have resources to acquire a a IHI-RHC6 turbo, which maxes within the band I'm looking for. It will use a adapter though, not too sure about that.

Anyways, just wanting to see what you guys would recommend. I'm a DSM guy, who saw the light a litttle, and took off running toward a 2.

I just dyno'd a GT3071 yesterday. With the usual bolt ons, 264-268 cams, the Power FC and my tuning we are usually seeing 360whp at 17 psi, 390whp at 19 psi, and 420whp at 23 psi. I maxed out a stock Gen 3 map sensor at 26 psi yesterday and made 451whp with a GT3071.

The GT3076R spools 150-200 rpm later and makes about the same at 17 psi, but is more efficient at higher boosts. He have multiple 30psi 500whp GT3076R cars out there.

i've got my eye on a IHI RCH6, which would hit my 400hp goal, and still give me something decent to drive around for now.

Next question though, could evo 9 injectors drop into a 2, or would it need a rail and regulator?

Aaron, what is the highest reliable horse power you would recommend for a street car? Perhaps not a daily driver but about 5-8K miles per year.
