TD05/TD06?

What is the difference between your td05 and tdo6 kits?

Not much difference in spool but TD06 has a better top end for sho. And there's like $100-$150 difference.

spools about the same, but power output is substantially lower IMO. for another $150, i'd rather get a tdo6 20g. if you wanted a tdo5, i'd try and get a 16g

So since people are paying a substantial amount of money for the kit, why not spring for the extra $150?

Just curious, i hear more about people with there tdo5's than there tdo6's

Actually, there are a lot more people with the TD06 than the TD05. The TD05 is only about $300 more expensive than a Greddy TD06SH, with all of the flaws of that kit rectified. It's the only full kit with an external wastegate that costs less than $2k.

For someone who is looking for ~300RWHP on pump gas, the TD05 combo #1 is the absolute least expensive path on the market. (Safely)

the TD06 costs a bit more, but has more room to grow. Some people need that, some don't.

Best regards,

Ken

We can do dual feed, but it's not necessary at the power level currently achievable by the ROM tune/550's. It will however, work fine with the ROM tunes.

There's really no such thing, which is why we have all of our kits adapt to the stock manifold. In our experience, even the name brand tubular manifolds, like the one in the Greddy T67 kit, all crack.

The stock manifold has shown itself more than capable of supporting high horsepower. I know of several cars making mid-high 400WHP through the stock manifold, and Aaron's car put down 588RWHP on it's second or third pass on the dyno, before he started lifting the head. (ATS GT35R kit @ 27PSI, untuned)

Best regards,

Ken

It depends on the supporting modifications. Our combo #1 plus a boost controller, intercooler and exhaust usually gets 300-310RWHP @17PSI on pump, and ~350RWHP on race gas @22PSI with the dual map option.

The combos are listed here:

http://www.atsracing.net/combokitsTD05.htm

There is no (safe) less expensive way to that power level.

Yes, on race gas, with a Walbro, our bored rail, modified FPR, 550's, and the ROM tune to run them.

No. They come with the bored fuel rail. The FPR is only needed if you plan to also get the dual map option, and max out the 550's on race gas.

So that would be $75 extra (plus core) for the FPR, and $50 extra for the dual map.

Best regards,

Ken
