making tail lights shiny again

My taillights (94+ style) are kind of dull, is there something I can use to make them shiny again? I thought someone had mentioned it once, but I searched and searched but couldn't find the post. thanks

I use PlastX from Meguiars. It's around $10 I think. Works wonders.

I heard that works - but is there any type to use (whitening, gel type, regular white baking soda type)?

But I use Blue Magic plastic restorer - it was night and day for me

if you have a buffer you can just use that with any regular wax and it cleans it up amazingly

I used Diamond Cut on a wool pad with a PC on my old 93 tails:

These were all about a month after I got the car back in 04.

Before

After

Same for the old stock turn signals.

best and fastest way is to hit up yur tail lights or headlights with buffer on the lowest setting with a semi abrasive compound or high power quick cutting glaze and finish with yellow medium cut foam pad-5 mins later yur done slap on sum or yur fav wax( liquid so u can easily clena around the edges) once in a while and voila

keep wetsanding on lights for when u cant even see trought the yellowness hehe
or else its a waste of time and sandpaper
