also works the same on the yellowed up look you get on plastic headlights
though i would start on a higher grit on headlights say 2000 as they only need a tiny bit taken off then polish them |

Mequiri's makes a clear plastic polish it is called PlasticX I use it to keep them looking good you should be able to find it at most auto parts stores.
