Glass scuffs.

I have a few small scuffs on my window and windshield; they piss me off.

How do I fix it?

The best way I have found to clean windows (the outside, not the inside), is to use a steel wool pad to clean it.

If you have gouges or deep scratches. You can take it to a window guy and they might be able to fix it, or you can get your windshield replaced for about $150 to $200 bucks.

What kind of pad would be good to use with glass polish? How effective is the glass polish vs steel wool for anyone who has used both?

if theyre bad scuffs, you can call up a local windshield shop an they can probably buff them out, if you cannot get them out. glass is very durable you can go over it with a razor blade or steel wool but dont use some rugged steel wool use like the 3000 stuff, my windshield is hammered time for a new one

theres those little pads that are supposed to protect your windows from smashing around. they have like felt fuzzy stuff on them. theyre probably shot from being so old. i would check them out an replace them.
