Leather care question
I have just bought some used mr2 leather seats...great condition, as far as holes go, but the black color is worn off in sections....how do i get them back to black and get them back to looking great like they should?

You can try some black leather dye and then seal them with a protectant like the Leather Masters product.
With dye it is necessary to apply several thin even coats as opposed to globing it on. Once you get the look you want you need to seal it. There are some aerosol spray coatings to finish the leather or you can just use the Leather Master Protectant cream. This type of fix usually is not permanent though and will likely require periodic re-application. |
