Exclamation where is the alternator on the 1991 N/A?

ive noticed that the 3sfe have it somewhere else
but just to be sure
where is the alternator located in the N/A???
frunk? or the engine bay?
and where exaclty???
thanx i need this INFO ASAP!

Engine Bay...just look for the accessories belt and look for the alternator (it'll be on the passenger side). Looks like this...

Yup.. look for where the belts are.. opposite side where u fill up the gas.

This is real ugly to replace. An absolute bloody knuckle job. I've replaced mine twice and it is my least favorite MR2 project. If you are planning on replacing it good luck. Located on the right under most of the engine and it is nearly impossible to get in and out.

Yep an ugly job, just did it, if it wasn't for the fact I have a lift where I can stand and move around I'm not sure how one would get up in there.
