Is that the ebay carpet? I would like to buy a new carpet for my 87 but if they suck as bad as I've been reading, I'll pass.

it was. Cost about 150 all told. Don't buy it, I could spend three full days on that crap and it still wouldnt fit right. Theres too much in some places, not enough in others, it doesnt have *any* of the various clips and plastic mabobbers that hold it in place (and you cant just move those from rug to rug)
It wouldnt be so bad if it was the right shape, but it's not. the way this one was deformed, it would always have a "bubble" of sorts down on the wall next to the gas pedal, constantly rubbing on my shoe. Can you imagine? I located my ripped-to-**** dirty hole-filled stock carpet and put it back in. |
