autox loser, Hey this ain't fun.
I guess that I just got complacent about winning a regional autox. I expect it. Now when the big guns show up,,yeah I know I'll get whopped on, but other than that I should win,,,I think it's even in the rules,,,"Let the Wookie win".
So I went down to Kentucky to run. Four guys in class. I finished forth. Yeuck. The course was shaped like the letter M,,very simple with a couple of 30 step slaloms (WOT),,all the corners were sweepers. On the drive home, I kept replaying the course to try to find where I could have lost some time, but I feel I was at the edge most of the course. It wouldn't have taken much, top guy had a 35.9 and I had a 36.1. The vettes were hitting 32. I really hate losing to them. I hope this sparks me to get back to getting my game face on. Or at least changing spark plugs. |

Doesn't sound like a Louisville course (KYR). Was it in Lexington (CKR?)

least you could say you were in the top 4. Losing isnt that bad, if you think about it differently it gives you time to get better and work your way up??

Those have been around for a billion years.
Anywho, Yikes, losing is just the first step to winning. Maybe you've been getting luck yall these years =P Or maybe you've just moved up to a more serious field. Either way, it's definately the spark you need. Aside from your spark plugs, you need those too. |

E Stock Drivers: 4 Trophies: 2 Bob C 85 Toyota mr2 Silver http://www.kyscca.com/Results/2005/7-24-05results.html I usually run somewhere between the SM2 C5 vette and the BS Mr2 Matt C 98 Chevy Corvette Blurry 33.017 Dean Smith 93 Toyota MR2 Turbo Silver 33.591 And there's no shame in losing to the red ZO6, white C4 or black C5. They're all pretty quick ![]() |
