Addco sway bar mounting question

Hey guys, I just received my Addco bar and reinforcement brackets from twosrus today. Excited as I was, I went out and tried to put it on thinking it would take an hour or two. And that's where things sort of sucked. As I took off the stock sway bar, I noticed that the 4 OEM bolts were sort of short. I mounted the reinforcement bracket and oh was it pretty. I had the brackets on the sway bar all lined up and proceeded to tighten them down. Now, here's where I forgot that the bar came with 4 washers. I'm assuming those go onto the short OEM bolts with the lock washer on it? Now I can't get the bolts to thread and it's making me sad. Can I not use the washers that came with the bar? Or do I have to get a longer bolt? Any help is appreciated! I can't wait to use it at autox!

I have the ST bar but I think we have the same reinforcement brackets. I just didn't use the washers, and everything seems fine. In general, I think it's better to avoid using a washer than to have the bolt 1/2 threaded and strip it out.

I have the Addco front bar with the ST plates on my 93. I bought longer bolts.

I love the Addco. I tried the TRD bar, and it wasn't stiff enough for a B Stock setup. The Addco is stiffer, so it definitely helped the car from being too tail happy, as it was with the TRD bar. It's the same diameter as the TRD bar, but it is solid, as opposed to the TRD bar, which is hollow. I didn't want to go to the ST bar, since I have a 93 with LSD. LDS typically doesn't need as big as a front bar to put power down on a tight auto-x course.
