Your getting better at your camera skills
Have a better look the top of the Cylinders are not round. Look perpendicular to the head bolts.
Luckily you have bigger pistons.
Get it bored and TORQUE PLATED.
And get new rods regardless. They are thin

just a quick question ..whats the engine overhaul gasket kit part number and what gasket compound would you use for the sump

USE Toyota's sealant black silicone oil pan 08826-00080 dear but the best as you will also need it around the top part around the seals of the camshafts

so not long before i need the settings for the head bolts...any of you lucky guys with the manuals help out here ??...these aren't stretch bolts are they ???
will be using new bolts in any case

I would use ARP studs before the factory bolts. I will give you the figure tonight , but talking to my builder he is making extra long ones for extra stretch. Plus he said that even though factory says a number all the bolts SHOULD NOT be torqued down with the same figure. The end bolts are different due to the less steel.

Really need the setting for the head bolts this weekend..got new 3sgte conrods
to fit with the forged pistons...bores re-bored and and ready for fitting,the head is ported,this part is almost complete..next is the turbo part...p.s stretch bolts are ****e..may have to get my own made

years ago stretch bolts used lbs and then angles..hate them

That thin gasket just above the plastic bag isnt on our engines
